Hi Gary – some interesting thoughts. Re 23% mandate I agree with the kind of ‘precedent’ logic of your point (if its good enough in one election its good enough in all….). Probably nothing to do with this discuss – but low turnouts in all elections should be a concern for us all (suits the establishment though). Agree that the economic arguments will be very important – I suspect that if Independence is achieved we are unlikely to see any major changes economically – the argument for Independence goes beyond ‘the Economy’ (great article by Ian Bell in Sunday Herald on this). Re your final point Salmond needs to negotiate (and will) with Cameron – the establishment could take this to the Courts and we’ll be talking about referendums forever (see article in today’s Scotsman by Jim Sillars). Good that you’re trying to raise issues.

Hello come across your website after typing in ‘Why are MP’s Wankers?’ It is about time they said sorry to the hard working people who live honest lives for messing our ‘household income’ so to speak. I heard this “love and respect” interview this morning.

Mandelson is a complete fraud. Him and the numerous other New Labour media luvies are obsessed with how they apear to the public but fail to actually do anything concrete.

All they want to do is “send messages” and make policy. This is not only the media busiens but the idiot busines consultants who spend all their time on policies and procedures and forget the busines they’re in.

When Balir left I thought the New Labour nightmare might almost be over but now Mandy comes back from the dead and is even angling for the top job.
